Dear Friends and Supporters,

What a week this has been!  On Wednesday, Tate Publishing offered me a contract for my second devotional book, Morning Whispers:  Inspiring Devotions to Start Your Day (title subject to change).  My first book, Good to the Last Drop: Refreshing Inspiration for Homeschool Moms and Other Busy Women, was released in May and continues to bring encouragement to women of all ages.  If you have purchased a copy for yourself or as a gift for someone else, thank you from the bottom of my heart.  If you are interested in buying a copy, please click on the bookstore link for a list of bookstores and websites that carry Good to the Last Drop.

After several months of praying and seeking God's will, and with the counsel and encouragement of prayer partners, I believe God has called me to begin a speaking ministry.  In addition to my two books, online devotional blogs, and freelance writing for The Collierville Herald and Common Ground Herald, it is my prayer that God will begin providing opportunities to speak and share my testimony and the encouragement I have found in the pages of His Word.

Ministry doesn't just happen.  Now that I have taken this step of faith, I am praying more than ever for God's guidance and provision of the funds needed to execute the publishing contract for Morning Whispers so that production can begin soon, and also help cover the startup expenses associated with a writing and speaking ministry, such as travel to and from book signings, advertising and promotion, and the gift of materials to encourage others.  

Please pray for God's guidance and provision.  Pray for lives to be changed for His glory.  All that I am I owe to Him.  My heart's passion is to help others discover the same amazing God I, and many of you, have come to know.
